About Bulletin

Bulletin is an independent news aggregation app published by Vishal Gupta. It displays brief previews of third-party news reports and provides links to the original publisher websites. Each story identifies its source. Bulletin does not claim ownership of third-party reporting.

Information we handle

• Saved stories: when you bookmark an article, the bookmark is stored locally on your device.
• Optional account information: if Google sign-in is offered and you choose to use it, Bulletin may receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, profile image, and sign-in identifier.
• Notifications: if you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging may process a device notification token and related app or device information needed to deliver notifications.
• Advertising and analytics: Bulletin uses Google Mobile Ads and Firebase Analytics. These services may process advertising identifiers where available, app interactions, and technical device information. Bulletin currently requests non-personalized ad delivery from Google Mobile Ads.
• Diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics and Microsoft App Center may process crash reports, diagnostic details, device type, operating-system version, and app version so that reliability issues can be fixed.
• Service requests: when the app retrieves the news feed, the service provider may process standard technical request information, such as IP address and request timing, for delivery, reliability, and security.

How information is used

Information is used to provide and improve Bulletin, load the news feed, deliver optional notifications, display advertising, understand app performance, investigate crashes, and protect the service from abuse.

Articles link to third-party publisher websites. When you open an original report, the publisher's own privacy policy applies to your use of that website.

Sharing and selling

Bulletin does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the service providers described above to operate app features, or disclosed when required by law.

Security

Bulletin uses HTTPS for network communication and limits information handling to the features and service providers described in this policy. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but reasonable safeguards are used to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Data retention

Saved stories remain on your device until you remove them or clear the app's storage. Account-related information, if applicable, is retained only while needed to provide the account feature or until a valid deletion request is completed. Notification, analytics, advertising, and diagnostic information is retained according to the policies of the service providers listed above and only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Your choices

• You can remove saved stories in the app or clear the app's local storage.
• You can control notifications in your device settings.
• You can reset or limit advertising identifiers using your device settings.
• You can choose whether to use optional Google sign-in where offered.

Account and data deletion

To request deletion of account-related information associated with Bulletin, email vgvishal538@gmail.com with the subject “Bulletin account deletion request.” Local bookmarks can be removed directly from the app or by clearing the app's storage.

Children's privacy

Bulletin is a general-audience news app and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

Changes to this policy

This page may be updated when Bulletin's features or service providers change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when revisions are published.
